"Remedios Varo" Mexican Painter Biography

This is the cover for a biography of my favourite painter, #remediosvaro. She was originally from Spain but lived in México for many years; she developed her career over there and is very famous in my country. On the cover, I included the Fern Cat from one of her paintings (last pic). Do you know her work?

This is a Remake of a #collegeproject. The second pic is the original one I made almost 2 years ago, the background was a bit busier, and I feel it was stealing the attention from the main character. Also, my style and knowledge evolved, so I wanted to see what I could do. I miss traditional, and I want to go back soon, but for now, I just used a #watercolorbrush on Photoshop, and I really loved the result.
